- Generally, under 55 years of age unless waived by the nominating state/territory due to exceptional economic benefit to the region.
- Must score at least 65 points on the points test, which assesses factors including age, English proficiency, qualifications, business experience, net assets, and business turnover.
- State/Territory Nomination:
- Applicants must be nominated by an Australian state or territory government.
